IF YOU FEEL IN IMMEDIATE DANGER. Dial 9-1-1 immediately.
IF YOU FEEL SAFE, BUT DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO. If you are unsure what to do to address your warning signs, contact your doctor immediately.
IF YOU FEEL YOU NEED TO BE EVALUATED IN PERSON BY A CAREGIVER, TRUST YOUR SELF-ASSESSMENT. Call them and directly say: “I don’t feel right, that concerns me and I need to be seen.”
IF YOU FEEL SAFE AND KNOW WHAT TO DO. If you don’t feel in immediate danger and are very confident that you understand your health care team’s instructions about how to address the warning signs, follow the instructions immediately.
